I am sure that this weekend will be filled with serious articles about remembering 9/11 and all that.  And that is as it should be.  But in the vein of not letting the terrorists win, I have a challenge for you.  I have found that kids see humor a little differently than adults do.  Especially three to five year olds.  They hear someone tell a joke and they see the reaction it gets and they want in but they don't get the idea of misdirection or nuance that makes something funny.  Heck, even adults miss that sometimes.  So let's do a little fun thinking, shall we?  Give me your best answer, your favorite or the one you find funniest, or the one your five year old thinks is funniest.  The question is:  Why did the chicken cross the road? 

I will start it off with my very favorite answer:  To prove to the armidillos it could be done (that is mostly a Texas answer).  Or because she was pinned to the punk rockers cheek (kinda dated).  Or the traditional "...to get to the other side".  My son Joey said it was to get to the rooster.  Let's share...whacha got?
